Bill, I live in a 55 an older community and many of those who retired are back working, many full time.
As for me, my client's once told me I have to install a phone and have a computer terminal in my coffin. Well, not that bad but the want to be able to reach me 24/7 including when on vacation.
Even at 68, I am not ready to retire. I still enjoy what I do. My wife and I do a lot of traveling. We are still healthy enough to do it.
The main problem is learning new things. The memory isn't as sharp as it was when I was younger and the drive isn't there. I would rather work with a younger programmer who has the skills needed.
This is the problem filePro is facing with it's aging developer base and few if any young programmers learning fP.
The need, as my father useful say, sell the sizzle not the steak. Filepro in it's present form does not have the sizzle young programmers ate looking for.
The young programmers are making money writing apps Wichita sell for between 99 cents & $4.99. They can sell thousands or tens of thousands of these. Why would the even consider looking at filePro?
