Would not function because of licensing attached to something in
the hardware or because of hardware/software incompatibilities?
We are running some applications that require the ability to run
SCO OpenServer COFF binaries under Linux. The most recent
version of Linux I know of that does this is Caldera OpenLinux 9
which we run in VMware virtual machines on top of CentOS 5. We
also have OpenServer 5.0.6a in a similar environment which is
primarily for support of existing clients or clients who need to
run Xenix 286 binaries.
Another question is what do you do when the last FP developer
passes? I think the vast majority of folks on this list are 60+
and not getting any younger.
