Write cache failed

I have a client running a 5 user filePro 5.6.06 on a Windows XP
Professional system. He has his XP system hosting the databases and
3 computers running filePro accessing the databases on his XP
system. All 4 computers have an Intel RAID controller running RAID
1. The systems have been working fine for approx 6 months. They
just recently started to get a 'Write cache failed' error message
when they save new records and exit filepro. When that happens any
records added during that session are lost.

I have already tried the following:

Right click on Drive C:, Select properties, hardware tab, select hard
drive properties and made sure 'Enable write caching on the disk' was disabled.

Went into the RAID controller properties and made sure the
controller Write cache was disabled.

I was notified they are still having the same issue. I can't think
of anything else to try. Has anyone seen this behavior before? Does
anyone have any ideas what is causing the problem and how to correct it.
