Serial Receipt Printer

Because I wasn't physically at the location to see if anything was actually
printing or not and nobody else was there either to tell me if something was
printing or not. I was told that they could print to the printer using
Notepad.
All I could see was an empty printer queue and nothing going to it when I
sent output from filePro.
Since I wasn't absolutely positive that it wasn't printing, I said "does not
seem to work".
I guess that was a terrible choice of words.

Then why not say "nothing prints"?

And why say "does not _seem_ to work"? Why does it only "seem" to not work?
