Two books that go into NSA's tapping activities are James
Bamford's ``The Shadow Factory (2008)'' and ``Body of Secrets
(2001)''.  In particular they go into the taps that NSA had
installed at major hubs that monitor all 'Net traffic.

One of these, I think the first, has a chapter on the USS
Liberty which was primarily an NSA listening post.
