No, JP, I disagree... It's no defile of this list. It will keep some action
when other things get low... Which they do.
There is no problem for anyone seeing a note on Sundays only that says OT:
to just press delete... Even you.
Of course there arethousands of other forums expressly for the purpose...
But they are *other* people... I like the people here. I want to learn more
about the people here. It's not so much the content. Plus, I expressly
suggested that it be "funny" and observant ... I don't see why you feel it
would become vituperative. It's the idea that all political discourse
*must* do that which is so anoying to all of us these days. There was a
time, badck in the 50's early 60's when you could adamently disagree with
someone and still not resort to fillifying them. Just because someone
disagrees with you , it doesn't make them the devil... The younger crowd
needs to learn that... We have to teach them if no one else will. Our
country includes all sides of an argument, there is no reason to run any one
side out on a rail.
The whole purpose of T: is so you can press delete without being bothered to
rea the message. Let's use that funtionality. I do not read lots of OT:
threads if they are subject titled correctly.
If this is voting... I vote let's do it.
