I know the syntax for import just fine.  Rarely use it, but recognise
and know it.  That's not it.  No, my "WTF?!" moment came exactly here in
Richard's rhird-last message in the thread or so:

"\r=\n" makes -zero- sense in -any- context.  It's at that point that I
start questioning what someone is trying to convey.
