Update on a stupid thing...

Well, that 10 second response thing hits again. I typed in my last note
without checking it... Then as I read it back as it arrived in my mailbox...
I see something stupid in it.
At the end of the @oncee, after you've done a lookup free and a WRITe to the
newly retrieved free record. I have you do a lookup - to that record and
END. There is, of course no need to do this (in most cases, including this
application)... Just let the @once end all on its own and you will be on the
first record in the file. Again, I'm not clear why the asker wanted to have
a record one in this file... Maybe to go sit on it and do his IMPORT process
which itself gets free records? In which case some other bit of code would
be necessary to ensure writing to record 1. Or maybe he is wr4iting to
another file with the IMPORT doing look up frees to it... In which case I
don't know why he wanted a record 1 in this file, you can stand anywwhere to
do an IMPORT to *another* file.
I dunno, the whole thing is kind of moot until more info were to come along.
I really was just answering the "how to get a record 1 in the file you're
in... If you don't have one to start with..."
Also, I may have mentioned using dreport with -xa... And of course I meant
-a. Sorry.
