It's not a problem to do the browse lookup from a different file. But, the
scenario you are describing sounds as if you're already in the file you want
to browse, doing other things, and you were suggesting exiting/starting or
SYSTEMing to another dclerk to do the browse. If that's not the case, and
you're starting a "browse only" dclerk, then it doesn't matter.
