I'm assuming it's an NTFS filesystem yet. If so, go into the disk
properties and turn OFF indexing. Indexing slows down disk access by
~30-50%
Short of that, no suggestions, other than to perhaps get Iarsn TaskInfo and
look at what's actually going on with processes on the server. It's way,
way more comprehensive than Task Manager, and well worth the $30.
