One of the first things I did when started using this Snow Leopard
system for supporting filepro-based clients (through the default
terminal) was to go into System Preferences, Keyboard, then Expose &
Spaces and change the assignment of F9 - F11 to require shift to yield
the same functions. This allows me to keep F9 & F10 available for
filepro the way that I am used to. I do use the shift-F9 occasionally
when my windows are piled up, but no nearly as much as I used that key
for filepro.
