And if that much access to the Win32 API was actually inherent to the
Windows version of filePro, you'd possibly actually have the start of a
-real- GUI version, rather than a console window DOS-ish version.

The conrols for dealing with that printer stuff are really far more
in-depth than just running fP in a console window.  I don't see this
feature being added anytime soon.  If one was to go that far, one may as
well go the rest of the way, which is quite possibly a lost cause at this
late date.  Putting in use of part of the GUI at just one or a few points
would just look like an ugly, unprofessional hodgepodge when stacked
against what's there currently.  At least as it is, there is the potential
for typos, there's more work, but there's also uniformity.
