John,

Not sure which version of fp you're running.  But most of the recent
versions came with 2 files for recording the index specifications for all of
the filepro files.  Once it had this data, it creates a script which would
rebuild all of the indexes.

Look for fpidx and fpidxdat 

This has the advantage of running the program once and having the index
parameters stored.  You would only need to rerun the program if you add new
indexes or change an index parameter.
