A good reference manual

In addition to John Esak's excellent CD tutorial, you will want to go to
www.stn.com and purchase Stuart Werner's Filepro Developer's Reference.
(Pick up a spare copy for me, because I use it so much my copy is getting
busted up and dog eared! <grin>)

The one resource that has the best tips and examples is Laura Brody's
help files (www.hvcomputer.com). After you install Laura's files, when you
press the "help" key in filepro, you will get about 5 times more help than
your current filePro help files will give you. (I see Laura's filePro area
is still empty, but click on "shopping" and you can find the pages.

It's twice as tough for me to work without Laura's files installed and
Stuart's manual by my side. (But I still carry around my old 3-ring printed
filePro manual, so I guess I just like lots of references available for
those seldom used commands...)
