Ok: here we go again.
I need to pick your collective minds to help solve this problem.
Server 2008 filepro 5.6.10
Problem Scheduled task hangs up.
Here is what has been found:
1. Task starts
2. txt file is created with 0 length
3. -v select processing runs to completion
4. rpa file created
5. first record is processing completes
This record locked, no output is created.
I created a log file to track the progress through each processing table.
One line for each record selected and 3 lines for the location in the output
processing table.
We have checked the permissions on all of the directories and these appear
to be set correctly.
The problem then is why is filepro having a problem writing to the txt file
that was created with the -p option on the command line.
If filePro can create the file, it should be able to write to it.
There are a number of other reports that generate to txt files in the same
directory and filePro is not having a problem generating these outputs.

PS:
At the present time, the company managing the servers does not want to have
this task run from a workstation left on and logged in.
I have asked them to create a task which would log in a user and then run
this task, they are balking. There is a sample batch file on the TECHNET
web-site for doing something similar to this use a batch file. However,
they recommend downloading a batch to exe program as the batch file would
not be secure.
