A friend needs an Epson DFX5000 or DFX8000 or DFX8500 print codetable. Anyone got one?

That's funny, Steve... That is exactly what I told him right off... (it's
all I remembered... But at least I remembered that much). The problem is
that *some* forms ar legal length and some are not. I think he can maybe
split between front and back carriage, but either way he needs to know some
soft codes so he can change them form to form. Thanks much, though. I had
told him about the "skip perf" switch and I thought there was a lines per
page switch... But I couldn't rmember if you wanted to skip the perf or not.
:-( I'm guessing if the form is 84 lines, that is one form and the perf
takes up one line, so it should be skipped and then the next form has 84
lines as well. Hell, if it doesn't work one way, how hard is ti to flip it
and you're done.

His problem is the printer is kicking out extra lines as if it's thinking
it's printing on 66 lines per page. I had him put an "84" on line "84" of
his ofrm, then I printed from filePro into a file.. .and it landed in
exactly the right place... So it is the printer itself (and hopefully not
the interface file) which is doing this. The interface is the netcat/Net
file, so I wouldn't want to mess with it. But I don't think it sets up for
page oriented printers. Even so, he needs the manual. Dale, are you
reading this? :-)
