Microsoft has one that will view PowerPoint 97 up to the latest PowerPoint 2010.

Subject: OT: What is the best free Power Point Viewer?

A friend needs a .pps reader. I have it by virtue of it being in Office. I
once found him one... It was a long while of searching through dozens of
spamy, nagware, really not free, stupid things. The one I finally got him
did work, but went up I 30 dsays. Is there one that is truly free?
Wouldn't Microsoft make one of these. Didn't see it.

I know Open Officxe does it all supposedly... Does it do Power Point... Just
the reading not creating even.

Thanks

John

P.S. I was hoping just to get a link for him or better yet put the real
thing on my thumb drivew so he could just cxopy it into place. I kno, this
is asking too much...
