How do I open a filepro app from within an e-mail in Thunderbird 3

I tried it, but it didn't work.  Just like my version it says "This link 
needs to be opened with an application.  Send to:"

Is there a way to send the html contents it sends to fpro to get it to 
open at a specific record?
