Another fp error that has me scratching my head

Running filePro 5.6.07D4 on SCO OSR 5 5.0.7.
I will be working in filepro for several hours with no 
problems.  Then all of a sudden I press ''B' Inquire, Update, Add' or 
any other menu choice and I get the following error:

*** A filePro Error Has Occurred ***

TCPIP Send failure.

License Error. Refer to license documentation for more details.

I have to reboot the server in order to be able to get back in to 
filepro.  Once I reboot everything is fine ... until the next time I 
get the error message.  Has anyone seen this message? have any idea 
what's causing it?  It just started giving me the error message, 
after many years of working without a problem.
