Hello,

The printer is defined in Filepro. This is how it shows up in Filepro Configuration:
23 pfprinter ? printer

where "printer" is the real name of the printer defined in linux for /dev/lp0.

Report command:
/appl/fp/dreport myreport -f myform -s -P printer

What is the difference between -p and -pn? (per online manual one selects the printer the other one sets the printer. What is the difference between the two?).

I get the same error if I try it as root or another user.

This is what I did:

I ran this:
/appl/fp/dreport myreport -f myform -s -pq

then selected default printer then the printer "printer" from the list and it worked. However it doesn't work the other way.

Thank you,
Flavius.
