Flavius,
When you print to the file from the command line using "lp -dprintername
textfile.txt" are you logged in as root? If so, does it still work when you
are logged in as a regular user?
Regards,
Scott

Subject: printing error - help
Hello,
I try to print to a dot matrix printer connected to a filepro server (linux
redhat 4.4) on the parallel port.
When I print a text file using "lp -d printername textfile.txt" it works ok
but when I try to print from FilePro it gives me the error:
*** A System Error Has Occurred ***
Cannot Open Print File
printer: Permission denied
I have tried both the "-P printername" in the command line and the "printer
name "printername" " in the processing.
Does anybody have any idea about what my problem might be?
Thank you,
Flavius.
