To John & Steve
I put a pause statement in the script and it did not show any error.
Here are the lines of the script on the menu
cd\
cd fp
rreport wofile -f hotlist -s hotlist -u
cd\
@echo off (just added, didn't work)
copy rick.fp.pdf v:\delrptdf\hotlist.pdf
cd\
Below is the batch file which calls the menu.
@echo off

Sorry, I couldn't duplicate this behavior.
Are you possibly getting an error message so large it is wrapping the
screen... so until you hit Enter... it doesn't refresh?
I tried generating an error with the .bat file like copying on top of a file
that was already there.... I tried long file names. I couldn't make it do
anything but redisplay the menu.
My .bat file had nothing in it but
copy one two
Ihe menu was called "test" and I ran it with "p test"
Any other info that is important?
My version of dmakemen is 5.06.6D9
But, I can't imagine that matters. I suppose the p.exe is at level 5.6.6
also.

OK, this is the first time I've seen this happen on a filePro menu. To be
sure it is only an aesthetics thing.
I have my filePro menu set to 8 X 12 , Raster font and NOT full screen mode.
I added a couple of menu scripts. One which calls a batch file and the
other is a simple copy filea to fileb line.
When I run these the menu scrolls down a couple of lines. I know all you
have to do is scroll back up but can someone let me know what causes this.
I tries and added an echo off to the script but that had no effect.
Not a big problem, just curious.

Rick,
When in the properties for that window, have you gone to the layout tab, and set the
Screen buffer size height to 25, as well as window size height? Widths for both
Should be set to 80. I hope this helps.
