Nancy:

I know you said you either checked the A/V or disabled it but was it confirmed from both the server & client side?  IOW, I've seen A/V updates wipe out config settings that told the A/V app. to exclude network drives on the client side.  Check on the server side to confirm the filePro folder is excluded as well.
