Don't worry! We have a number of very current and very good models for this
form or "Freedom"! Take a look at Cuba / Castro and Venezuela / Chavez!
Right in our own hemisphere, no less! Or would you like a few more ...
Sorry, is this non-filePro -- topics open -- day? I sure don't want to
offend anyone! Seriously!!
By the way, for anyone who works with graphics a lot, there is an
inexpensive and great package out there that just morphed into a new name /
version. I know there have been a number of discussions about graphics and
how best to deal with resizing, enlarging, changing resolution, etc.
I became familiar with a program called "Genuine Fractals" about 10 years
ago, when the program was in beta development, and the company was looking
for someone with deep pockets to buy them.
And so this great product was absorbed and disappeared as an available
program. A few years ago it became available separately again by OnOne
Software, but it was ONLY available as an add-on to Photo Shop.
Now things have gone full cycle and the new version 7 is stand alone, and at
$199 for the full version, is a real steal! It uses Fractal technology
(Mandelbrot set, Chaos Theory of mathematics - a good read if you are into
such things) and so allows you to take a 10 MB file from a digital camera,
shrink it to 500 k or less without distortion, for easy storage, and then
blow it up 800% with no distortion or pixilation!
Without getting wordy, the best way I can explain it is that this program is
to graphics as PostScript is to Fonts, only it used Fractal Imaging instead
of Lineal Algebra.
Neat program for not a lot of $$ for anyone who works with photos and
graphics on a regular basis. Just thought I would pass it along!
