filepro menus and Ctrl-S - maybe Anzio setting?

Ported this problem and its calling menu to another Linux box.  Even 
ported a copy of the config file to call with PFCONFIG set to try to 
test with the same filepro environment (also filepro 5.0.14).  Testing 
the problem menu the same way from the same fresh Anzio Lite - the lock 
was not turned on when the menu had execute permissions set.   There 
must be something wrong in the config of the Linux os where it is 
locking.  I was going to say that what George said (about the more 
command also locking up on that file) might lend support to this 
suspicion about the os, but that actually tested out the same way on 
both boxes.  Well - I can't think of anything else at this point.   But
