Ah, that takes me back. Pre-95, wasn't it? I'm pretty sure it was flexfax
in '93 yet.
The real question is why people are even using faxes anymore? PDF-to-email
solutions would seem to be the more optimal solution for anyplace with a
network connection. Most places worth existing have one of those nowadays.
It seems that it would cut paper costs if only desired printouts were made.
It cuts development costs in half because you don't need to do the fax fork
-and- the email fork, if you would have both.
Fax is so late-80's/early-90's. :) Sadly, I remember when they were new,
as do most of us, I suspect.
They've almost killed off IE6. Time to do the same for fax, I think.
This is why I suggested that he look and Printwiz as a replacement. Mark,
your litemail program would also be a good solution.
The only problem, is like one of my client's, his clients don't want their
reports as an email, they want to receive a fax. One step no fuss no muss
on their part.
