John,
I remembered you can do that. What surprised me was that the dummy fields
resolved in a browse lookup "view" option screen. I hadn't considered that
one could do this.
I sometimes modify screens, removing the dummy fields, when used in "view"
mode from a browse lookup. Now I can resolved these fields from within the
current file, if I so choose.
