When you are defining an output format, <F5> allows you to enter a print
code.  This is the number of the entry in the filePro printer control code
table that is defined in Printer Maintenance.

How are Esc codes entered directly into an output format?  I know how to do
it using vi to create a file and then load it into the format.  But can it
be done directly?

And how is it done in a Windows version of filePro?
