Okay, I think I would have guessed that this was configurable... But really
Bob, would you agree that "no confirmation" on a mouse click that shuts the
entire machine down to the ground is the right "default" operation? I'm
just stunned by that. When did the precisely opposite philosophy bite the
dust? Is it because everyone complained about the persistent questions in
XP and more so in Vista? Still, this is not a good response. I coule have
been in the middle of a very large install... In fact, I pretty much was...
Just an accident saved me from a big mess.
There is something in me that would be a little less critical if this were a
hardware button like on a keyboard or the face of the machine... But a mouse
click?
Forget what I think or how I've commented. Do you really think it is
possible that NO one else during al the testing of Viesta didn't hit this
"bug" or "feature" and ask about it? If not, that's amazing. If yes, and it
was kept as is... That's even more amazing.
This is all JIMO but it's all I ever go by... :-) I give it lots of weight.
