Guys,
I finally worked out how fp was representing the licensing compared to
what I wanted.
I think we were both trying to say a similar thing, it just hit me wrong.
Here is what I wanted:
5 dev users
10 runtime users
Now they suggested I needed to purchase 10 runtime licenses to
supplement the 5 development licenses. But that kind of covers 15 butts
and I only needed 10 butts to access the system.
So this is how I see it.
I can have 5 people doing development and 5 people using just runtime =
that adds up to 10 people.
OR
I can have 10 people using the runtime side that also adds up to 10 people.
Since it is likely that when 5 people need to use development they will
stop using the runtime stuff, it all works out fine.
I think fptech wanted to allow for a total of 15 people, not just the 10
I really needed.
So I would like to say that maybe Bill did not misdirect me but just was
trying to allow for as many options as possible when he suggested the
additional 5 users was required.
Thanks for your support however.
Nancy
