Clark, Jeffrey Alexander propounded (on Mon, Sep 28, 2009 at 02:14:58PM -0700):

| I am a consultant pharmacist looking at starting a new business this
| fall that will require the management of medical records. I've
| look at several applications that are geared towards other areas of
| pharmacy practice but do not specifically meet my needs. I have
| talked to a recent graduate with a computer science degree who has
| used FilePro for many years in a non-medical application. He thinks
| that the software would be adaptable to my needs and that it would
| be relatively easy for me to learn how to operate and develop as
| necessary.
|
| I do not intend to use the software to process and fill prescriptions,
| but rather to assist with the evaluation of patients and the
| maintenance of their record.
|
| My question: Do you have any customers that use the software in this
| manner?

I have no particular reason for answering this after a lapse of six weeks.

I have dealt with a pediatric care facility that has filePro records
for all of the infants, with information stored about their attending
doctor(s), their diagnoses, prescriptions, appointments, payments...

I didn't write it, and its authors are untraceable -- worse from my
point of view, the users only have run-time versions, so nothing in the
software can be changed, but it's served them well for over a decade.
