Reading in a map

I need to do this to speed up the building of demand index by using a
similar auto index.

This requires a front end which mimics dxmaint, ixsort to find s similar
auto index and then building the command line and using system to create the
index.

I could use import to read in the map into an array. The screen top part of
the screen would need dummy fields to display the initial values. Page up
and page down would force a reread of the values being displayed.

The bottom of the screen would have dummy fields for import of the sort
data. Then I would need to list the available select sets and read this
into a screen, After that write out the new selection set file.

Has anyone done this? Or is there an easier way to accomplish this?

Too bad -j doesn't work when building demand indexes.
