Hope that I am forwarding this to the correct email address.

Have seen the terminal get locked, but it was a real device port and not a 
ttyp0 port. The fix that we did was through the scoadmin. Go to terminal 
manager and click unlock. Type terminal port in and it was resolved. This 
happened more than not with users.
