I made reference to the price not the product ... Just referencing the
logic behind justifying something like OG for $995 (on sale) versus CS
for a couple hundreds more.

Any one of us can replace OG in a couple of weeks (or less) but who
among us can replace CS in the same time frame? Except you Mark, I know
you already wrote your own in Perl ... :-)

Good point, to some CS "is" their bread and butter and without it they
would not have the means to operate their business. I doubt anybody
could say that without OG they could not operate their business. OG has
a market share of (.000000000000000000000.......0) percent as a CGI tool
where CS has (sorry, no time to look it up ...) :-) ???? in whatever
market they target ...

If anyone in this list can say that if they did not have OG they would
have to close their doors they need to wake up and have a cup of coffee
or cappuccino or hot coco or smell the roses ... shame on them.

> As for your OG. I think it's a great product. I'll love to get it but I wouldn't be pushing 50K transactions a day. More like 5 so I can't justify they cost. Just like you can't justify the cost CS4 because you are not in the graphics industry. I did buy your HTML2PRC. It did the job and the price was right.

The truth is that we all want to pay little to no money for what we buy
but cannot understand why would anyone not pay big bucks for our work.
After all we, individually, are the greatest at what we do.

I find it interesting that Mark has so many negative things to say about
every product he ever worked with (except for his video games -
whichever he now finds challenging) and yet glorifies something like OG
as if it were the most amazing thing ever developed. Anyone using OG is
simply too lazy to develop it on his own or figures that two weeks of
his time is worth more than the $995 (which I would say is the case -
that would be mine any ways).

Every time one questions you Mark or counters your posts, you turn
around and start calling them (or me) names. This shows you to be
in-matured and not one, I at least, would want in a team. It shows that
you cannot work under pressure or with others that disagree with you. A
sad thing because you are a talented person.
