fileProGI install

Hi Nancy,

So are we saying that fileProGI can not be loaded on a laptop or do I tell it that the laptop is the server.  Makes me wonder how I ever git fpodbc 5.0.15 working on my laptop.

I'll play with it this weekend and see what gives.

Rick,

The GIAdmin is windows and can be installed on a windows machine.  It uses the new licensing so it is stuck where ever you put it first.

The GIServer is installed on the server that will be hosting the filePro app also uses the new licensing so setting up a test is not practical.  It is Windows, or Unix based not sure which one you purchased.

The GIClient is installed on each windows computer that will need to access the server.  This is not limited except that a set number only connect at one time to GIServer.

The GIAdmin will generate a file that can be distributed to setup the special stuff.

That is how I understand it.
