5.6 install hangs

Maybe it's a termcap thing? Which termcap are you using when you run the
install? Although, I wouldn't know which one to suggest if that is the
problem. How about just trying a couple different ones to see if anything
changes. Best way to do this, login to the system with a terminal emulator
and switch it around to a couple different choices.... Change TERM to match.
Is it possible you had PFTERM set to something that worked and TERM not set
to the same thing so the install of the upgrade failed?
You're right that the oddity is that the old filePro works but not the
upgrade install.
