memo fields

I stated using memo field in filepro
I would like some information on the saving thes files
I realy didnt want a memo field in every filepro file
I thought I could use a dummy field xx(16,memo) then
save it to a memo file but when I use a dummy field with a edit of memo
I get eror message token is to small even if I enlarge it i still get this error message
the only way I can use this is to put a field in the fiel of memo and another withe email with a edit
of 16,MEMO
