Epson lq2090 escape codes

     Which filePro printer driver were you using to drive the DMP 2200?  I bet you were using the “IBMPROXL” codes.  (Look on the filePro menu, option “7”, to see.)
 
     If so, all you have to do is to put your Epson 2090 printer into “IBM Control Mode”, and it will work fine without making any other changes.  As I recall, the 2090 doesn’t have any DIP switches.  You have to switch to IBM mode via the front control panel.  Remember to SAVE the settings into the memory of the printer before you exit the settings mode.

My 25 year old DMP 2200 printer finally died and I replaced it with a Epson lq 2090. Of course, the escape code format is different. I am on filepro 5.0 and sco unix. Can anyone point me to some programming examples/rules for the lq 2090 using filepro.
