printing to file

I have a printing problem maybe you can help.
I have a File and when I print to a file. If I see something on the form then delete it. then reprint the form while being in input processing and not leaving the record still shows up on the form.
if I beak out and go back in print the from that record does not show up on the form. is theere something I have to clear out for this not to happen if so what.
