It is my opinion that suggesting trying authorized_keys2 is hardly like 
throwing crap at a wall to see if it sticks.

God, please in the future remind me of my normal mode of operating.... 
"monitor but don't contribute" to avoid getting sucked into a boorishly 
long thread with Fairlight. Sorry Mark, but you make contributing to 
this list rather unappealing because you are such a know-it-all. You may 
be very informed, but you lack humility.
