As usual, John, you hit the nail on the head and supply tons of useful
information.

I did not go to the Survivor Series simply because I hadn't thought of
them as a resource and, in any case, I don't have them at home which is
where I was working that night. I'll have to look into setting them up
on my server as an available resource.

Still, I would've expected most of this information in the
documentation. I was able to glean the information on the @DIRLIST from
having remembered someone mention something a few months ago about
OPENDIR using an array and eventually pulled the information together
from elsewhere, I still wouldn't have known everything that was in your
post.

If someone at FP is paying attention they would save a lot of trouble
simply cutting and pasting that post and putting it in the docs under
the OPENDIR heading together with a link to this from all the other
applicable commands including CHDIR.

I'm still amazed at how well Ken has been able to keep FilePro so
relevant and capable to this day. Aside from the sexiness or real
estate that a windows-based system would provide the only other thing
lacking to keep FP relevant is a way to integrate it with a web page
that is just as easy as the rest of the application development.
