Define Files on Linux

Maybe this doesn't happen in 5.6 or maybe there is
something wrong with this Linux OS, but, if I'm not
going crazy, I think I've seen this before recently.
If I go into Define Files and press U to update,
but then don't change anything and then try to
cancel out of the dialog that asks about screen 0,
qualifiers, index, etc. (with Ctrl-C), it won't
let me out on Linux 5.0.14 filePro--I have to
ESC ESC. (It does let me cancel out with
5.0.14 on SCO.)
Is this normal for filepro 5.0.14 on Linux?
