(OT) write MBR BackupEdge recover SCO 6.0.0?

I am helping a FilePro user recover an SCO 6.0.0 system using
BackupEDGE.  He is on-site, and I'm not so I can't see menus.

It appears to be restoring from the backup media, but the system
is not booting after the installation.  It sounds like it may not
be writing the MBR (SCSI mirror).  It's been several years since
I last did a recoverEDGE restoration, but I seem to remember that
there was something in the menus to restore the MBR.

Any ideas?
