automatic expansion of input processing

It is only a few lines over 1000 as far as processing. There is nothing in
the rest of the file after that.
I now see that other input processing was also expanded. Could this have
something to do with upgrading to 5.0?

Dennis,
Not aware that this could happen.
How much processing was added? How much larger is the file?
Have checked the processing table from the bottom up to see if there any
extraneous characters?
