Can't Start License Server on Windows XP

I just noticed that "fplm_service" isn't running on my Windows
XP Pro system.

When I go into "Services (Local)", highlight "fplm_service" and
then click on "Start the service", it tells me it can't start
the service.

When I go into "Events Viewer" and double click on the Error that
has been reported about it, it reports:

  The fplm_service terminated with service specific error 1 (0x1). 

Now what ? ? ?
