OT - PCL5e printer language

If the printer supports PCL-5e, which is a stripped down version of PCL-5
(I think it's only missing fonts, but the rest of PCL-5 is there), and it
includes an interface (such as parallel or serial) which can be accessed
by a DOS program, then it should work.

The big "if" is the interface, as the printers nowadays tend to have only
USB and/or network interfaces.  If it is a USB interface, you may be able
to capture it to an LPT port through the printer control panel.  (I'm not
at my XP box at the moment, but I don't see any such setting under Vista.)
