Was the Chase site complaining about the type of computer or
perhaps that you were coming in from one you had not used before.

When I go to my bank's on-line system from systems other than my desktop,
it goes through some additional verification to insure that it is really I.

One thing that iPhones do not currently allow is multi-tasking (e.g. daemon
processes), and the ability to cut and paste easily between applications.
Given that they are OS X based, this may well be a policy decision rather
than technical. Apple's SDK limits what its licensees can say about it as
well which will limit the ability of people to exchange development
information and tips.

A fake fortuneteller can be tolerated. But an authentic soothsayer should
be shot on sight. Cassandra did not get half the kicking around she deserved.
