Tell me how is it different from having a table with a couple hundreds 
records, placing an user on one of these records from simply adding a 
new record as needed and delete it as you are done?

Also, what does record count have to do with license count?

You missed my point all together, try running your your processes 
sitting on record one as the original post does.  That is what I was 
addressing and maintain is same as a single user process.  I clearly 
supported this when I explained that if a user walks away and process is 
sitting idle waiting for input, other users will be denied simply 
because record one is already locked ... If that were to be the case, 
how is it not single user process?
