LOGTEXT question

Wow...talk about a coincidence!  

No reason writeline() wouldn't work (just takes a little more
front-end work--call me lazy :-).  The way this came to light
was in trying to debug ODBC statements (which can become 
very long when joining tables, using large numbers of fields, etc.).
