Fair enough. From my perspective, it looks like fpcgi is failing to
run it at all, and as far as I know you haven't examined the logs
since we started out latest test runs and found that the new binary
you provided + config changes are still resulting in failures.
(perhaps our contractor has not kept us in the loop on your
involvement this time around?)
Since I can't really observe very well what fpcgi's actually doing,
there are bound to be inaccuracies in my understanding of it. Either
way, the end result is the same - fpcgi and/or rreport are failing to
produce output, using the exact same data in the exact same
environment being run with the exact same commands, on 0.5% of our
trial runs.
